My practice investigates and explores the complexity of interior and exterior workings of displacement through analysing site(s) of home, to shed light on sense of belonging, identity formation and importance of geographical location when thinking or remembering home.

The aim of the project is to combines writing with images, as a response, examination and creation in relation to each other. Interweaving both past, remembering and history, and present, analysis of recollections and observations of the space and of the photographs, with each other to explore the role and the relations between the house, memory, home, nation and belonging have with each other. The result of the project is a body of art-writing that explores possible approaches to and about home through displacement.
